Forni Industriali Bendotti supports the Stoppani Memorial again this year

As for 17 years now, for Lovere, a small town on the shores of Lake Iseo in the North of Italy, September is synonymous with Mario Stoppani, ace of the Italian aviation in the First World Warand record holder of the skies. In honor of the multi-decorated aviator from Lovere, the Municipality of Lovere (Bergamo) organizes a great flight festival, which attracts thousands of visitors every year.

Forni Industriali Bendotti has supported the event for several years, contributing to the organization of the air showsthat this year will animate the sky of Lovere on 7 and 8 September. At the end of the rich program of events, Sunday at 15.00 the Frecce Tricolori Acrobatic Aero Patrolwill fly over the lakeside of Lovere.

New contract signed with the american company Sterling Steel

August 2019

The first half of the year closed successfully. Forni Industriali Bendotti has in fact signed a new order with the American company Sterling Steel for the construction of a walking beam furnace with a capacity of 120 sTPH, which will supply the existing Morgan wire road rolling mill.
The erection is scheduled at the summer of 2020, while the start-up is scheduled for the first few months of 2021.

This is the first Bendotti order for Sterling Steel Co., the Illinois based company worldwide known as it owns the largest EAF (electric arc furnace) in North America, with a capacity of 415 tons.
